The Gym
Tricia has run and coached several gyms in her coaching career, and in 2018 decided to open up her own gym. The gym is still growing, and she has many young and up and coming fighters. She runs several classes throughout the week; from Junior and Ladies Only classes; to Mixed Adult and One-on-One private sessions.

Tricia has been the North West Area; 3x British and Commonwealth Thai and Kickboxing Champion. She has been ranked number 1, 2, and 3 at various times and weights in her career.

Tricia has travelled to Thailand on many occasions to further her knowledge in Muaythai. She has trained at some of the very best camps Thailand has to offer, including Sityodtong Pattaya and Lamai Camp Koh Samui. Most of her training has been at WPT Gym in Bangkok, with the world-renowned Master Pimu. Master Pimu has sadly passed away, but Tricia looked up and admired him both as a fighter and a coach, and was grateful to have learned a lot from him.

Tricia has had the privilege to train alongside some of the UK’s and World’s best fighters. She’s trained many juniors to become English, British, and World Champions – some of whom are now becoming her adult Pro team.

In 2012, Tricia became the UK Manager/Coach for Team GB for 4 years. On this route, she managed and coached the team – twice to Turkey, and to Malaysia and Thailand for the famous I.F.M.A. Championships. On this journey the team picked up many Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. Tricia was honoured to work alongside some of the UK’s best coaches.

As a fighter herself, Tricia loves the fighting side of the sport, but also loves to pass on her knowledge to help people in all walks of life. Not everyone has to be a fighter to train in Muaythai. It is a great all body workout for fitness and fun, socialising, and self defence. It is a great martial art, and a great confidence-building life skill to have.
